Professional Sample
This professional sample was written during my time as a graduate student at the University of South Florida and was specifically written for the business side of universities. Namely, this sample is for a travel grant that would have allowed me to spend a few weeks in New Castle, Kentucky and complete archival research at The Berry Center. I didn’t submit this travel grant proposal because my project had drastically changed by the time the grant reopened, but I did receive exceptionally positive feedback on the grant. It also demonstrates my own flexibility and audience awareness via writing a business document to a primarily academic audience.
